Ella and her New Shoes
In order to help avoid bumps and bruises we decided to get Ella her first pair of real shoes. We went to Stride Rite, got her measured (2 1/2) and picked out her first pair of shoes. These adorable pink kicks are definitely going to help her with her balance and hopefully help prevent falls like she had last week. I know her fall last week won't be her last but I hope that it will help prevent.

Successful Dinner Out
We were in the mood for a good meal and decided to venture to Outback on Saturday night (thanks Uncle Tony for the gift card). We weren't sure how Ella would be so we decided to go a little early to hopefully beat the rush. Well the rush starts much earlier than we anticipated. It was packed when we got there at 5:30 - a 30 minute wait. We decided to give Ella the benefit of the doubt and cross our fingers she would be happy and patient. We sat down at the bar - glass of wine for Mommy, a sippy cup for Ella and we waited. One massive spit up, a diaper disaster, and two outfits later we sat down for a lovely dinner. Ella was so happy and such a good baby. I see lots more dinners out in our future!

Milestone: Pulling Up
Ella started pulling up here and there a few weeks ago but now she's officially wanting to stand all the time. She finds whatever she can to pull up on...and even getting a little cocky standing with one hand. We've lowered her crib and the next step is shoes (she took a spill at school the other day). She's growing so fast. I can't believe how fast she's hitting all these milestones. Slow down Miss Ella, slow down. :)

Milestone: Holding a bottle on her own!
Ella is officially holding her bottle all on her own. She is growing up WAY too fast. While I love that I can get things done while she's eating, I hate that its all happening so fast.

Testing out the wagon...
We had some unseasonable warm weather this weekend so we decided to take Ella's new wagon (thanks Pap Pap) for spin. Ella's friend and neighbor (they are two days apart) decided to join us. They weren't sure what it was all about at first but then settled in comfortably. I can't wait for us to use this in the spring and summer.
