We were in the mood for a good meal and decided to venture to Outback on Saturday night (thanks Uncle Tony for the gift card). We weren't sure how Ella would be so we decided to go a little early to hopefully beat the rush. Well the rush starts much earlier than we anticipated. It was packed when we got there at 5:30 -
a 30 minute wait. We decided to give Ella the benefit of the doubt and cross our fingers she would be happy and patient. We sat down at the bar - glass of wine for Mommy, a sippy cup for Ella and we waited. One massive spit up, a diaper disaster, and two outfits later we sat down for a lovely dinner. Ella was so happy and such a good baby. I see lots more dinners out in our future!
When you have a happy spirit child and lots of fun activity toys in her goody bag, you have a recipe for a happy travels family. Cassandra and we had hours of fun with her purple popples, her my dream ponies and her coloring and reading books as she got older.
