Such a Cutie!

Ella has been so much fun lately and getting cutier and cutier.  Over the weekend we were just laying around (she was in her third outfit of the day) and she was rolling around on the floor by me and just started "talking" to me.  I had to capture it on video.

Milestone: First Food - Sweet Potatoes!

This weekend Ella tried "food" for the first time.  We started with sweet potatoes and it was a big success!  She ate almost the whole thing.  Moving forward, we will try a new food each week...starting first with veggies and then moving to fruits after her six month check up. 

Ella is Five Months Old

I'm a few days late on this...Ella is FIVE months old.  I can't believe how quickly the time is going by.  She's getting bigger and cuter everyday.  She's "talking" a ton and has started eating real foods.  So far sweet potatoes have been a big hit.  Here are a few cute pictures from her five month photo shoot.  These are my favorite so far.  She's all smiles!

We got Ella up a little earlier today so we could hit the polls before work and before the lines got crazy long. 

Ella's New Gear

During Hurricane Sandy we were stuck in the house for a couple days so we decided to put Ella's Jumperoo together.  She doesn't quite fit yet but she loves it.

Starting to "talk"

We got to spend extra time with Ella this week because we were both home on Monday and Tuesday due to Hurricane Sandy.  I treasured those two days and really got to see how Ella is changing.  I've been hearing her "talk" when we are in the car but this weekend/week was the first time I really got to see it.  Of course I had to document it.  I love her little noises.

Happy Halloween...Ella celebrates her first!

Ella celebrated her first Halloween a few times this weekend.  First was a Halloween party at our friends' house.  I was a cat, Mikey was a banana and Ella was a super cute watermelon.

Second party was at the oldest Scripps brother's house.  All the Scripps' were going to celebrate at the Alexandria Halloween parade.  Unfortunately the parade was cancelled so we had a mini parade in the basement.  The cutest kids I know!

Here she is in her Halloween outfit for "school"...I really hope she stays in it till I go visit her at lunch.
