Ella's Second Week

Ella had a very busy second week of life.  Lots of visitors and firsts.  Starting with her first bath.  She wasn't a big fan...

After Uncle Charlie and Aunt Gloria left we were visited by lots more family.  My side of the family came throughout the week/weekend...

Start of Week Two

The start of week two brought to very special helpers to spend the week with us.  Aunt Gloria and Uncle Charlie graciously offered to spend Ella's second week at the house to help us (mainly me) out.  We had a wonderful time together and they were a huge help!!  Ella loved spending time with her great aunt and uncle and I was very grateful for the extra help and naps!

 We took lots and lots of walks...great to get out of the house and fresh air!

This was Ella pretty much their whole visit.  So content and happy.  We can't wait for them to come back again!!!!  

Ella's First Week

We survived Ella's first week at home.  Getting sleep when we can, changing lots of diapers and taking in every moment with her.  We decided that our first week was just going to be the two of us and I wouldn't change it for anything.  What an amazing week.  We are sad that next week Daddy is going back to work but excited that Aunt Gloria and Uncle Charlie are coming for a visit!  Here's Ella's first week in pictures.

One Week

Can you believe I'm one week old today! 

First Walk

Today we went on our first walk with our sweet pea.  We took a nice long was to the Rockville Town Center.  Ella was soo good and slept the entire way.  Lots more walks in her future!!!

Ella Rose Finally Made Her Appearance

Ella Rose Scripps finally made her arrival into this world on June 2 weighing 7 lbs, 8 oz and 20 1/4 inches long.  She is absolutely perfect.  We are adjusting to life as new parents but promise to share with all of you her birth story and lots of photos.  Follow the blog on the right hand side using either Google Friend Connect or Email Subscription to get all the updates.
