First Walk

Today we went on our first walk with our sweet pea.  We took a nice long was to the Rockville Town Center.  Ella was soo good and slept the entire way.  Lots more walks in her future!!!

Ella Rose Finally Made Her Appearance

Ella Rose Scripps finally made her arrival into this world on June 2 weighing 7 lbs, 8 oz and 20 1/4 inches long.  She is absolutely perfect.  We are adjusting to life as new parents but promise to share with all of you her birth story and lots of photos.  Follow the blog on the right hand side using either Google Friend Connect or Email Subscription to get all the updates.  

My Belly Bump

My due date has come and gone and there are no signs that she is on her way.  Induction is scheduled for Friday so since I'm only going to have this belly for a few more days I thought I was show everyone how I've grown over the last 10 months...

Her Name Revealed

This beautiful piece of art work hangs above her crib and was done by my fabulously talented cousin (thanks again Cass). We chose Ella because we absolutely love that name and Rose is after my grandmother (Ella will be her first great-grandchild).  Now we are just anxiously awaiting her arrival.  :)

Maternity Photo Shoot

Baby Showers

We were so blessed to have several baby showers to celebrate the upcoming arrival of this little one.  We've gotten some amazing gifts and are all set for her upcoming arrival.  Now Daddy just needs to put all her gear together.  :) 

 

It's a....

...GIRL!!!  We are over the moon excited to be expecting a little baby girl.  We didn't find out the way we thought we would but so excited to know!!  It all started on Sunday when we were goofing around on the couch and Mikey accidentally kicked me.  To be safe we went to the ER for a quick ultrasound.  Everything looked great.  The technician was so nice and was able to tell us that we were having a girl!!!!  I was shocked because everyone kept telling us we were having a boy but was so excited that I will have a little girl to spoil with dresses, manicures and all things girly.  Mikey immediately fast forwarded to our life when she's older and started worrying about dating, weddings, etc.  We are both over the moon and can't wait to meet our little bundle of joy!!!!
