Surprise Daddy I'm Walking

It's been a long time since I've posted on the blog (I promise I will update at some point).  I had to share this amazing video of our sweet baby girl walking to her Daddy for the first time.  Let me set the scene - Yesterday was my birthday and when I went to pick Ella up from school they told me she had a surprise for me.  She walked across the room to give me a big hug!  I was sooo excited and surprised and I really wanted Mikey to have that same feeling.  I decided to keep Ella up a little past her bedtime so she could surprise her Daddy when he walked in the door.  Did I mention he was gone for four days so this was the perfect surprise.  Here's what happened -

Somebunny is ready for Easter...

I couldn't resist picking these up from Target's dollar bin.  She is one cute bunny.

Shopping Fun!

Ella loves going to the store with Mommy and Daddy.  She is so good in the cart and just loves to look around and people watch.  All smiles makes shopping more fun.

Ella the Copycat

Last night while getting ready for bed, Ella and her Daddy went back and forth "spitting" at each other.  This is a new thing Ella likes to do when she's really happy.  She learned this lovely skill from her grandfather when they were in town a few weekends ago.  Around the :30 mark they really go back and forth.

Thanks for the 4am wake up call...

The past couple of mornings Ella has been getting up between 3am and 4am.  She's wide awake and just wants to snuggle.  As much as I love snuggling with her, I'd rather it not be at such an early hour.  Despite the fact that she hasn't been sleeping well, Ella was all smiles this morning before we left.  I LOVE her belly laughs!

Aunt Gloria and Uncle Charlie - We are trying to break her of this early morning routine before you arrive next week. :)

Milestone: Ella's First Assisted Steps

Ella is constantly amazing us.  Last night for fun we thought we'd pull out the walker we have for her to see what she would do.  Well she completely surprised us and took her first assisted steps!   I can't believe how fast this is all happening.  I feel like I blink and she hits a milestone.  Next thing we know she's going to be walking and then boy are we in trouble.
